Ebony Anderson [she/her]

Independent Domestic Violence Advocate

Ebony recently joined HERSANA as an IDVA (Independent Domestic Violence Advocate). Through completing her degree in Forensic Psychology at the University of Portsmouth, she realised that working with survivors of gender-based violence is where her passion lies. She aims to positively impact the life of every person she encounters and inspire survivors to once again feel empowered; actively exploring creative ways for service users to feel united.

In her free time, she loves to read new and trending novels, her favourite genres being fantasy or a thriller, however, will never turn down the opportunity to read a classic romance book. Reading brings a sense of contentment and fulfilment to her, she can find herself lost in a book for hours at a time, loving being momentarily transported into another world. She is also very keen to travel more to explore new cities and discover the beautiful nature the world has to offer.
